THE BRIEF
When ITV won the rights to broadcast Formula 1 Motor Racing, a two-hour spectacle in which drivers tested both their skill and nerves, they knew their online offering needed to match their broadcasting. They asked GFM to create a challenging online fantasy game which would increase stickiness on the itv.com website and capitalise on its F1 TV rights.

THE RESULT
Pole Position was a huge success for ITV. Over 95,000 teams participated in the game, generating huge levels of page impressions. Viewers revisited the site repeatedly over the four consecutive days of each race weekend, with ITV enjoying even greater exposure for its in-depth editorial coverage.
