THE BRIEF
The Daily Mail’s Retail Week promotions are always a hit with its discount-savvy readership, and The Daily Mail enlisted GFM's help to recruit offers for their festive Retail Week in the build up to Christmas, giving readers the chance to snap up exclusive discounts at top high street stores.  We didn't disappoint.

GFM CREATED…
… a promotional marketing campaign that promised readers ‘£100 Off Your Xmas Shop’.

We approached retail brands, sourced offers and managed the creative process in partnership with the Daily Mail team.

... retail partner recruitment, negotiation and securing of promotions across the following retailers: WH Smith • Boden • Paperchase • Crabtree & Evelyn • Staples • Ryman • Beauty Expert • Laura Ashley • Habitat

We also managed the design process for the in-paper features.

THE RESULT
We managed to hog the front page with many of our offers, a great way for brands to enjoy mass media exposure and build customer loyalty. It was also a surefire success for the Daily Mail, who hit their target discount for readers of ‘£100 Off Your Xmas Shop’.

We also gave participating retailers something to smile about, with average sales for one partner more than doubling from £12 to £30, and another reporting around £130k in incremental sales from 15,000 discount redemptions. Not bad, eh?
