How do you prove to the masses that the only lager they’ll ever need to accompany their curry is Kingfisher? That was the challenge Kingfisher gave us when they needed a promotional marketing campaign to help them engage independent restaurants and boost their distribution base

… a national 2 for 1 Curry promotion.

Sounds like a tall order? Not for us. We created a 2 for 1 deal which offered a free Kingfisher Lager with each meal. We marketed the offer to our database of over 3,000 independent curry houses, as well as partnering with Maxim Magazine to give the campaign solid exposure to one of Kingfisher’s key demographics.

The campaign was a hit with Maxim readers, with each of the 550 restaurants taking an average of 37 bookings each.

As a result, Kingfisher saw a huge uplift in their partnerships with independent restaurants, dramatically increasing their distribution. That’s a lot of curry, a lot of lager and a lot of customer loyalty.
