The Irish Sun Summer SuperDays

THE BRIEF
When The Irish Sun wanted to reward their core family audience and increase paper sales over the summer we did what we do best! The promotion had to be accessible to all readers across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

GFM CREATED…
....Summer SuperDays, a family focused campaign giving readers 2-for-1 deals and Kids Go Free discounts on days out across a range of platforms.

GFM DELIVERED…
After a lot of research and a flick of the wand we identified 5 hero partners to benefit from additional exposure, including TV ads and front page support.

In-house we ran a successful recruitment drive and secured 214 attractions.

We designed and created a 4 page in-paper pull out and an exclusive branded microsite.

This year we optimised the promotion for mobile and included an in paper QR code, giving readers instant mobile access – a first for The Irish Sun.

Additionally, we negotiated partnerships with Failtè Ireland and secured a fantastic Stena Line competition, ‘Win A Family Trip Worth €400’.
